Amanda was unable to join us again

The character was Siayna/Nyanara and the theme was Longing.
Kind of appropriate for this particular character since she’s in a sort of tenuous relationship with another character from the same story (Albyon). He’s kind of uptight so she does a lot of longing. ^^’

This one is specifically, Nyanara.

Nathan accuses me of becoming cuter with every drawing, i’m starting to see his point, though for the life of me, I have no idea why my style is going in that direction. Suffice to say I’m enjoying it.

Hourly May 16 08

Last night’s hourly drawing. Theme was tenderness, character was Mia.
Amanda, unfortunately, couldn’t join us again but it was still fun with Nathan and I.

It’s been forever since I’d drawn Mia and after a mad scramble to find a reference for her (since I’d forgotten what she looked like) I had a pretty clear image of what she was going to look like and be doing. Rayne, on the other hand, was a different story, thus the nasty bulky lines and terrible posing. Ah well.

I love these set of characters (there’s one more main), they were part of an illustration assignment for uni, and they always stayed with me. I’m considering bringing them out again and maybe putting together their story at last.

Here’s the previous hourly too. The theme was rage and the character was Ineelian. The most rage-less character I could possibly have lol. It was a fun challenge though.

Since he’s up there in the header, I figured Quidel would be a good candidate for first pic post.

This is a work in progress i’ve been working on and off on for a while. I keep tweaking his face and i’ll continue to do so until i’m happy with him. He’s just so cute. XD

So i’m trying to keep this as strictly a sketch/art based blog. So anything art related from me will go here, obviously that will included daily scratches and works in progress too.

I’m hoping this will help me get back into drawing mode, since i’ve been blocked for some time and I’ve had quite enough of that, thank you.
